Right-turning lane from Grand Junction Road onto Terama Street

Residents of Gepps Cross have long requested an extension of the right-turning lane from Grand Junction Road onto Terama Street.

Tom and Peter were pleased to see the recent completion of these extension works. This improvement will help make our road safer and ease traffic flow for the community.

Election commitment - Delivered!

Kilburn Football and Cricket Club

As part of my election commitment, I was pleased to visit the Blair Athol Reserve and check out the upgrade works completed by the Kilburn Football and Cricket Club.

The club has upgraded its female toilet facility, refurbished the hall and bar area, installed a new digital scoreboard, and buy new furniture for the members area.

This space will be well-utilised by our community for many years to come.

Empire Dance Studio

It was a pleasure to host a morning tea at Parliament House for a wonderful group of talented people at Empire Dance Studio. Did you know they were the only South Australian-based dance studio to reach the IASF Worlds 2025.

These competitions are the premier global championships for elite all-star cheerleading and dance teams. On the world stage, their teams placed 4th and 5th in Jazz, which is a tremendous achievement and a testament to the studio’s passion for dance.

A huge congratulations to founders Ryan and Angela, as well as their dedicated staff and exceptional performers. I’d also like to extend special thanks to Adrianne from the Australian Dance Theatre, who joined us to speak with these young performers about how South Australia is nurturing talented dancers for the world stage. Joint initiatives between ADT and CreateSA have established programs like LOFT that provide more opportunities for dance artists.

A genuinely great moment to inspire the next generation of local performers.

ANZAC DAY at Enfield RSL

It was an honour to attend the Anzac Day Dawn service at the Enfield RSL.

Anzac Day is more than a day of commemoration, it is a chance for us to reflect on the resilience, courage and sacrifice that the ANZACs embodied.

Our local RSL and community members put a lot of time into preserving the memories and the values of our fallen, and it’s a privilege to stand with our community members and support their work.

I would like to thank the RSL President, Mr Daniel Stanbrook and all the volunteers for their efforts.
